I'm absolutely delighted to have scooped the very prestigious Forward Ladies "Home-Based Business Woman of the Year 2011" award, at last week's lavish ceremony, which took place at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
The awards were a celebration of ladies in business, and there were so many inspirational and talented women in attendance, running and working in such a diverse range of industries. I was honoured to be a part of such a wonderful occasion, and my congratulations go out to all nominees, finalists and winners!

We've had a really exciting week so far. On Monday, Lisa Forbes made her radio debut as a guest on the 'Late Late Breakfast Show' for local community station Red Shift Radio.
